I've upgraded this with the new Gen 3 Cree XHP70 from the older Gen 2 for a lumen increase of 600. I've still kept the orginal specs though. These higher end torches hold a much higher sustained brightness compared to many cheaper brands. They also hold at X brightness over the entire run instead of continuously dimming.
