The Convoy C8 can operate on High for the full duration of the battery without overheating. 900-1000 Lumens is the sweet spot. The Convoy is also slightly thicker Aluminum than my Sofirn C8's
 
 
Choose led tint (see photo #11 for a comparison)

4C 4300-4500K Warm White
 
Warmer tints are better at providing nicer color rendering and are effective in fog/haze. Colors look more washed out with cooler tints.
